Payment of tuition fees
Please make sure your payment of tuition fees is timely. If you wish to register by 1 September, your tuition fees must have been paid before 1 September.

Payment in installments
Besides your registration form, you will find a payment authorization form for tuition fees on which you can choose to pay in six installments from a Dutch bank account. If you do not have a Dutch banckaccount, you cannot pay by an authorization form! This payment arrangement involves € 24,00 for administrative expenses. The costs need to be paid at time of the first installment takes place
Note! The first direct debit will take along all expired installments.
You can't chose to pay in instalments if you will start your program in March 2012 or later.

Payment by authorization form in one time
Besides your registration form, you will find a payment authorization form for payment of tuition fees. If you do not have a Dutch banckaccount, you cannot pay by an authorization form! Tick the box the one time installment from a Dutch bank account.
The instalment date will be:
28 July 2011; 18 August 2011; 30 August 2011
After september 1st the installment dates will be around the 25th of the month.
Payment by personal remittance
If you wish to pay by personal remittance, you can pay your tuition fees into the Tilburg University bank account mentioned above. Please mention the academic year for which the payment is due and your administration number (student number).

Payment exemption
If you are registered at another Dutch institution for higher education and if you have paid the statutory tuition fee there, you may be exempted from payment of tuition fees at Tilburg University. Please enclose with your registration form original proof of payment issued by the institution concerned.
Please read the regulations carefully, see Article 4.1 Multiple registration.
Loan tuition fees
| Students from EU/EEA countries and Switzerland who are under 30, who are not entitled to full study grants (in Dutch: studiefinanciering) for a Dutch course in higher education can apply for a loan to pay their tuition fees. This loan is known as `loan tuition fees' (in Dutch: collegegeldkrediet) and is paid monthly. You repay the sum you borrowed after your studies. More information: loan for tuition fees ![]() |
Note!
In case of overdue an installment you will get only one reminder by mail and TiU-email. If you still do not pay in time this instalment your registration will be terminated and you are not longer entitled to education, exams and/or study grant. See also chapter 9, article 17
