University card

The University card is credit card sized, and contains a computer chip, your photograph, name, administration number and card number. There is no difference between a card for students or staff.

With this card you will be able to legitimise yourself within Tilburg University. The card can be used to obtain access to buildings, borrow books from the library and to enable you to use the computer workstations in the library. You can also make use of sports facilities (provided you have paid your subscription) at the Tilburg University's Sports Centre on presentation of your card.

How do I obtain my card?
If you are a student or employee at Tilburg University and do not have your card yet, you can apply for one at the Student Desk. A digital photo will taken at the Student Desk. You are requested to bring your administration number with you.

Once the card is ready, an e-mail will be sent to your Tilburg University e-mail address. You will have to collect this card in person at the Stuent Desk. Please take proof of identity with you.

What do by loss, theft, damage or malfunction of my card?
First of all, please report this to the Student Desk as soon as possible.

If the card is found, you will receive an e-mail from the Student Desk. If your card is defective or damaged, the Student desk can issue with a new card. For this service, you will be charged € 10.
