Individual Study-choice and Career Guidance

Our services in the area of study-choice and career guidance pivot around the training courses, workshops and CV walk-in surgery. A number of workshops offer the possibility of individual guidance as a follow-up to the workshop if this is still required.

If your specific question and situation should be incompatible with assistance in the form of a training course, workshop or the CV walk-in surgery, feel free to discuss this with the staff members of the Student Desk. They will decide whether individual guidance would be suitable for you.

Plotting your course

You can have a maximum of five meetings of 45 minutes each. During one-to-one meetings, you will discuss your specific questions with a study-choice and career advisor. Together we will identify your interests, strengths and weaknesses, possibilities and wishes. In this way, you will discover what is the best career or degree program for you and what you could already do to increase your chances in the labor market.

For whom?

Study-choice and career guidance is available to all Tilburg University students.

If you have already graduated but are still looking for work, you can come to us up to a year after your graduation. The staff members of the Student Desk will first check together with you whether your question and specific situation fit in with one of our workshops or the CV walk-in surgery. If this is not the case, we will make an appointment for individual guidance.

The individual guidance is free and is unrelated to the guidance on offer in the form of workshops and training courses.

Making an appointment

You can make an appointment with a study-choice and career advisor via the Student Desk (A301, route 14), by telephone on +31 (0)13 466 8000 or via Ask Student Desk.
