What are the elections for?
As of April 16th up to and including April 20th university elections will be held for students and staff. Candidates will be elected for the University Council, Faculty Councils and Services Councils of Tilburg University.
What are the elections for?Several Boards and Committees are active at Tilburg University, such as the University council, the faculty councils and the service councils. Periodical elections are held for these councils.

The elections are over. The final results are available only in Dutch. If you have any questions please contact the electoral office directly. There have been elections for the following councils:

If your council or section (student/staff) is not mentioned, this means that the number of candidates for this council is equal or less than the number of seats. Therefore the candidates shall be appointed automatically (as of September 1st) and no elections will be necessary. The names of these candidates shall be published on this website shortly after Easter. The lists are already available from room P 1.210 and are also supplied upon request by the electoral office.
The University Council
The University Council consists of nine staff members and nine students. The council holds consultative meetings with the Executive Board and has a number of important rights of assent and advisory powers in the areas of strategic policy, organization, management, and budget.
Service councils
Each service of the university has its own service council. The service councils are composed of five staff members (GS, LIS, FS, StS) or three straff members (CS, Univers) .
A service council propagates the views and interests of the service staff in policy fields and in decision-making.
Faculty councils
Each School of the university has its own faculty council. The faculty councils of the TISEM, TLS, TSB are composed of seven staff members and seven students. TSH and STS each have a faculty council that consists of five staff members and five students. A faculty council propagates the views and interests of students and staff in policy fields and in decision-making.
