Especially for first-year students we have created these pages, as an introduction to the whole site so that you will easily be able to find the answers to the most important questions you might have.

Introduction Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences

The School of Humanities organizes the following introduction day:

  • Pre-Master / Master Filosofie: Ethiek van Bedriif en Organisatie
  • Pre-Master and Master Philosophy: Philosophy of Contemporary Challenges
  • Pre-Master and Master Philosophy: Philosophy of Humanity and Culture

13.30 – 16.00  Introduction program (Campus Tour, Meet your Academic Advisor, Study Information, Meet the Study Association)

16.00  Drinks and the possibility to visit the IT-Help Desk in DZ 11

You will receive the invitation for the program introduction day automatically once you register in Studielink.


During the introduction day you will get important information regarding your new study. You will get to know lecturers, staff members and IT-facilities at Tilburg University. On this day you will get an extensive tour around the campus and lots of practical information. At the same time you will meet your fellow new students and also a few students who already study at this University.

Obligation and Absence

Because we consider it to be very important that all students start their study on the same level of preparation, participation on the program introduction day is obligatory. If you cannot attend the program introduction day due to special circumstances, you can send an email to the Education Support Team ( Please make sure to state the reason for your absence in your e-mail.


The introduction day is free for all participants.
