Questions arising from email ‘Check your information in the electoral register of Tilburg University’
07th February 2024This morning, an email was sent to all employees and students through the external party Inkesta (voting application) regarding an information check in the electoral register. As this e-mail is marked as ‘external’ in Outlook, it has generated a number of questions amongst fellow colleagues and students. The email can be considered secure.

Erik-Jan Broers one of the finalists in national Teacher of the Year 2023 election
23rd March 2023Erik-Jan Broers is a finalist of the national Teacher of the Year 2023 election. On Monday 24 April, he will be one of the four finalists to deliver a mini-lecture in the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht. A five-member jury will use this lecture to decide whether he walks away with the national title.

22nd March 2023As in recent years, Tilburg University has achieved several top positions in the 2023 QS World University Rankings by Subject. Since the 2020 edition of the ranking, Tilburg University has ranked in the worldwide top 100 in the broad faculty area of Social Sciences & Management.

Yael Diamant appointed as Professor of Financial Networks and European Property Law
20th March 2023Tilburg University has appointed Yael Diamant as Professor of Financial Networks and European Property Law at Tilburg Law School, effective April 1, 2023. Her research will focus primarily on the interface of property law and financial regulatory law.

Tilburg University has moved into new MindLabs building
17th March 2023At the end of January, the new MindLabs building was completed and it is now being fitted out. In the week of March 27, Tilburg University took possession of the building, situated in the heart of hipster hotspot Spoorzone. The four shared labs on the ground floor will be managed by the university. On the first floor, office space and three lecture halls will be available to Tilburg University.

Use your own cup and get a 10 cent reduction on your coffee
16th March 2023From March 20, you will get a 10 cent reduction on your coffee from the coffee machines on the Tilburg University campus. We do so to encourage everyone to bring their own cup rather than using a disposable cup. Together we contribute to sustainability.

How we take care of the trees on campus
