Flowers and cake for excellent teachers
Every semester we determine which teachers did a very good job in a particular course. We use the results of three questions regarding the performance of the teacher at the course evaluation forms which are completed by the students. Each question can have an average score between 1 and 5. TiSEM students evaluated 21 of their lecturers as excellent teachers. Our excellent teachers of this semester are:
- Bob van den Brand, Stephan Hollander , Dirk Leysen, Laurence van Lent – Accounting
- Oliver Spalt, Alberto Manconi, Rik Frehen – Finance
- Bart Vos, James Small, Louis Mulotte – Organisation& Strategy
- Hans Haans, Henk Roest, Anick Bosmans, Bart Bronnenberg, Vincent Wiegerinck – Marketing
- Jan Potters, Hans Gremmen, Jens Prüfer,– Economics
- Peter Borm, Henk Norde, Mohammed Chahim – Econometrics & Operations Research
- For courses with less than 80 respondents on the teacher evaluation questions: the average scores on the three questions related to the teacher should be at least 13.5 (average per question: 4,5)
- For courses with 80 respondents or more on the teacher evaluation questions: the average scores on the three questions related to the teacher should be at least 12.0 (average per question: 4.0)
- Only the score of the teachers of the lectures (“hoorcolleges”) are taken into consideration
- Courses with less than 20 respondents are not taken into
- Courses in the research masters programs are not taken into account
