Keuzegids Universiteiten 2019: 6 Tilburg University Bachelor’s programs rank 1st

According to the Keuzegids Universiteiten 2019, students have ranked six Bachelor’s programs offered by Tilburg University as the best in their field. The Keuzegids ranks all Dutch scientific Bachelor’s programs, largely on the basis of student satisfaction as measured by the National Student Survey (NSE). In the overall ranking Tilburg University overtakes Maastricht University and climbs from 5th to 4th place, right behind Wageningen University, Universiteit Twente, and the Open University.

In this year’s edition, and like last year, Tilburg University has achieved an overall average score of 64.5 points, a small rise as compared to the 2017 (63), 2016 (64), and 2015 (63) editions. With this year’s national average standing at 61.9 points, Tilburg University’s score is markedly above average. The highest score (74 points) has been achieved by Wageningen University.

Economics Bachelor’s: top program
With a total score of 84 points the Bachelor’s program Economics is at the top of Dutch scientific education. For that reason – and as in previous years – the Center for Higher Education Information (CHOI, the publisher of the Keuzegids) has awarded this program the ‘top program’ label.

Six Tilburg University Bachelor’s programs are the best in their field
Of the 20 Bachelor’s programs offered by Tilburg University that were reviewed six have come out first in their field: Online Culture, Psychology, Economics, Tax Economics, Global Law, and Tax Law. Communication and Information Sciences has also achieved a good score (2nd of six programs), as has the joint Bachelor’s program Data Science (shared 3rd of nine programs).
