Join the Fujifilm Future Challenge 2017

Fujifilm is the world's largest photographic and imaging company. However, it is less well known that they also develop a wide range of advanced technologies. They are leading innovators in the fields of bio-engineering, energy & environment, medicine and coatings.
Fujifilm has a mission to continue to improve the quality of life for people worldwide. To do so they need your help. Their expertise, together with your fresh new ideas can contribute to a better world!

Prize: an all-expenses-paid trip to Barcelona

The challenge

You will be challenged to find new and novel product ideas based on the international products and expertise of Fujifilm. Invent the future and bring your own solutions to big problems. You will
have access to specialists in all of the key innovation competencies at Fujifilm. You will be coached on how to develop ideas, spot opportunities and test if your idea will contribute to a new
sustainable product or business. It will be a great experience working with a leading international company and you will learn about creativity, innovation and thinking like an entrepreneur!

What is the goal?

To help Fujifilm be an even more innovative and sustainable business, and to help co-create the future with your ideas.

What is the prize?

The best idea will be awarded the Fujifilm Future Innovation Award 2017. The best team will be introduced to the European top management at Fujifilm during an all-expenses-paid trip to
Barcelona. Last year, the Tilburg University team won the challenge.

Who can participate?

Master or (3rd year) Bachelor Students can participate. Students can be from any faculty or program.

What are you going to do?

Over a period of three months, you will work in a multi-disciplinary team to develop new product ideas. You get a glimpse into the technological kitchen of Fujifilm. You and your team will peruse
this entrepreneurial opportunity: you work on validating your idea and exploring if it is viable, and if it represents a real business opportunity. In short, you will face all of the key facets of the
innovation and entrepreneurship process. During the challenge your mentor guides you towards a successful and winning proposal. Finally, your team will pitch your idea to a panel of experts and…
