Public lecture 25th Anniversary TILT in February: “Privacy tour”

Every month the Public Library of Tilburg hosts a Public Lecture on the occasion of TILT's 25th anniversary. The topic of this month's public lecture is “Privacy tour”.

The Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) conducts teaching and research into the regulation of technologies and technology-related societal innovation. TILT is a prominent player on the national as well as the international level when it comes to research and education in this particular area.

TILT is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a year full of keynotes, workshops and events. Every month will be devoted to a different theme, such as cybercrime, e-health, privacy and climate change. Public lecture of the month

Each month, the Public Library of Tilburg will host a Public Lecture. The topic of the public lecture in February 2019 is “Privacy tour”:

Walk with the city tour guide through the center of Tilburg and visit places where our privacy is at stake. On our way we stop by places where our data is collected to see where the data is used for.

Spoiler alert! There is a lot of time to catch your breath. Become aware of the value of the data you carry with you and become familiar with the digital pickpockets of the town.
