Would you like to go abroad during the 2015-2016 academic year? Or are you searching for more information about an exchange in general? It does not matter if you are a first, second, third or fourth year student. We will answer all your questions during the Study Abroad Last Minute Campaign.

Wednesday 8 October 2014
10:30 hours – 16:30 hours (Academia Building)

Visit the Study Abroad Information Day on Wednesday the 8th of October to collect more information about your possibilities for going on exchange during the academic year. Your Study Abroad Advisor will inform you about all the exchange possibilities and will explain the procedure.

During this event you will meet with students who come from all over the world or talk to students who have studied at one of our many partner universities and ask them everything you want to know. They are pleased to inform you and give share their experience with you.

Furthermore there will be other organizations to advise you on health, insurances and travel issues. If studying abroad for a semester or a year is not for you, you can also obtain information about internships abroad, summer schools etc. Please check the Information Fair schedule below (click on the image to enlarge).

Interactive Social Media Channel

For this day a special social media event is planned.  Students are welcome to participate in online discussions related to Study Abroad. You will have the opportunity to come into quick contact with former exchange students, exchange coordinators, and Tilburg University students currently abroad.  There will be a large screen in the Academia Building on this day, so you can follow all the discussions, questions and topics on our live interactive channel.  You ask the questions, we’ll provide the answers! The specific hashtag is #TilburgU_Abroad.

Presentations Study Abroad Advisors

Your Study Abroad Advisor will give a presentation about your exchange opportunities and about the practical matters around an exchange. Please check the Information Fair Schedule above.

Country specific presentation

Would you like to learn more about Asia (China/Japan/South Korea) or the US as an exchange destination? During these sessions you will learn about life in the US or Asia, the university culture and cultural differences in general.

Weekly presentations

You will also have the opportunity to visit a weekly presentation in which the possibilities to go on exchange in the 2015-2016 academic year will be discussed. These presentations will be given by one of the Study Abroad Advisors.
