Exams and Midterms
Exam datesExam dates are fixed by the schools and can be found in the electronic prospectus at the schedule of exams and the accompanying course descriptions.
Changes in exams and dates are always published in the electronic prospectus.
Registration / Deregistration
You must register for written exams midterms, without pc, included. Midterms with PC are to be registered through COMAP! on the Internet:
Sometimes the final registration date approches and you still don't know if you must or want to take part in this (re) exam, for instance because you still don't know yet your grade for an earlier exam. In this case you even tough have to register.
Deregistration for an exam goes trough the same site as registration and is possible up to the final registration date. There is no penalty if you don't take part in an exam which you did register.
Final registration date
At Tilburg University written exams (midterms, without pc, included. Midterms with PC are to be registered through COMAP!) are organized by the Studentadministration. The exams are offered each month. The final registration date is 15 days before the month in which the exams take place, for example for the exams in December the final date is before 15 November. Please check timely in the Electronic Prospectus in which month your exams take place.

After registration for a written exam, you can check this registration on the Internet. To avoid mistakes it is always advisable to check your registration
Exam notification
Approximately one week before the monthly exam period at the latest, you will receive a notification by e-mail (@uvt.nl) for all exams in that month. You can also consult the notification on the Internet. This exam notification is proof that you have been admitted to the exams. The notification specifies all exams for which you have registered, including time, room and seat number.
At the exam itself, you must be in possession of the notification (print) and a valid ID, for example, your UvT card.
If you have not received a notification in spite of your timely registration, please contact the Student Desk.
Register after final registration date
If you have missed the final registration date, you must get in touch with the Student Desk. For the first overdue registration, you will be given a warning. For each subsequent overdue registration, you will be charged 25 Euro for administrative expenses. Late registration is only possible UNTIL 2 WORKDAYS before the exam.
So:
Day of exam: -------> final day for registration till 16.00 hours: monday -------> thursday tuesday -------> friday wednesday -------> monday thursday -------> tuesday friday -------> wednesday
Registration for and participation in an exam is then NO LONGER POSSIBLE, even with the permission of the lucturer.
Result
The lecturer hands in exam results at the Studentadministration after the formal three-week marking period. The Studentadministration processes these marks, if possible, on their day of arrival. After one day the course results are available on the Internet. Results are never been given by telephone or e-mail.
Oral exams
Oral exams must be arranged directly with the lecturer concerned. Please consult the prospectus for further information.
The lecturer will pass on the result of the oral exam to the Central Student Administration. After the result has been processed, it can be retrieved from the Internet.
Computer exams

Appealing against a result
After publication on the Internet you can appeal against a result within four weeks. The appeal must be addressed to:
