The information specialists can help you create or adapt your search strategy for relevant sources. They can adivse you on using different databases and incorporating the sources properly into your text and the reference list.

Is the Scriptorium only meant for thesis support?

No. The Scriptorium can help you with all kinds of writing assignments, for first-year reports to your Bachelor’s paper or Master’s thesis. Scriptorium coaching is tailor-made, so you it is adapted to your level. We help you improve your writing and information skills. This is something you can benefit from during your entire academic career.

Do I need a certain amount of text for my paper/thesis before I can turn to the Scriptorium?

Are you on a deadline? Then start planning on time and already make an appointment. Do not keep struggling with a problem. By turning to a tutor or information specialist on time, you avoid really getting stuck. You can also come by before you even start writing. One of the information specialists can help you find information or one of the tutors can talk to you about creating a planning. Starting on time speeds up the writing process.

Does the Scriptorium also teach courses?

No, the Scriptorium does not teach courses. The Language Center and Library and IT Services, however, do offer all kinds of language, writing and information skills courses.
