Dean of Students

For all the problems you face when studying, first contact the Dean of Students. (Sometimes they are referred to as student counselors).
Depending on the nature and the seriousness of the problem, the Dean of Students can help you with information and coaching or refer you to other staff members or authorities or certain training sessions or courses.
If a problem is strictly related to your educational program, (the context of) the subject matter or the organisation of education, it's better to first contact a lecturer or an academic advisor. Think about your schedule, exemptions, exams and examrules, resits, electives etc.

In case you are confronted with undesirable behaviour, e.g. sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination, or you have a conflict with someone, please contact a confidential advisor.

If you want to combine your studies with a top sport career, please contact the top sports coordinator.

Make an appointment

Appointments with a Dean of Students can be made at the Student Desk in the Academia building or by telephone between 10.00 - 12.00 en 13.30 - 15.30 hours on number 013 - 466 8000.

If you want to cancel your appointment, please send an e-mail to studyandcareer@tilburguniversity.edu. Mention your name, anr, date, time and name of the person you had an appointment with.
