Opening Conference Tilburg University Impact Program

On June 26th, 2017 the opening conference of the Tilburg University Impact Program will take place. The aim of the Impact Program is to increase both the scientific and societal impact of Tilburg University and to create a clearer research profile to the outside world. All academic staff are invited to share their expertise and ideas on what issues could be addressed.

Essential to the Impact Program is connection: more collaboration across the Tilburg University Schools as well as with business and (semi)-government institutions, and civil society.

After a short introduction of the program leaders, Johan Denollet, Dick den Hertog, and Ton Wilthagen, several workshops will be held on three themes that are essential to advance society:
  • Empowering the Resilient Society
  • Creating Value from Data
  • Enhancing Health and Wellbeing

The input of the participants will further shape the Impact Program.
