Your personal page in Experts & Expertise

Tilburg University is approached almost daily, often by the media, with questions about science and research. People are increasingly turning to Experts & Expertise to search for information (www.uvt.nl/webwijs). The aim of Experts & Expertise is to make scientific activities at Tilburg University more transparent and to provide quicker and better answers to the numerous questions the university receives. Your personal page also acts as a calling card for both you and the faculty. Support staff are also listed in Experts & Expertise, although only limited information is given. Experts & Expertise contains information about everyone who works at Tilburg University.

The university requires you to complete your personal page as much as possible. Scientific personnel are asked to fill in all the tabs and to keep the information up-to-date. In line with the Dutch Code of Conduct for Scientific Practice, you must also list any work for third parties.

All new employees are automatically given a personal page in Experts & Expertise, but this page is not yet published on the Internet. Your personal page will already contain some information via links with other databases. You can add information yourself and even a photo.

You will find your own page in Experts & Expertise at www.uvt.nl/people/[your_e-mail address], for instance www.uvt.nl/people/k.ardon You can update your page and place it online by clicking on the link 'Bewerk mijn pagina' [update my page] at the bottom right of the page. This will take you to a screen where you can log on using your ANR and your Tilburg University password and where you can select a Dutch-language or an English-language form for completion (this only concerns the language of the interface; the Dutch-language form also includes fields for including information in English, and vice versa).
