- 2001 - Associate professor of Organisation and Strategy at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics, Tilburg University, Tilburg, The Netherlands. Key teaching responsibilities involve the supervision of graduate projects and the execution of the following courses: logistics & purchasing management, operations management and supply chain management.
- 2000- 2001 Assistant professor at the Department of International and Distribution Logistics, Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management Science, Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands.
- 1999 - 2000 Consultant/trainer at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Key responsibilities included the design and execution of training programs in the area of purchasing and logistics.
- 1995- 1999 Assistant professor of Organisation and Strategy at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics, Tilburg University, Tilburg, The Netherlands. - 1986- 1987 Graduation project for a drinking water company on West Java, Indonesia, aimed at improving the performance of this type of companies in developing countries. Commissioned by the Dutch consultancy firm IWACO.
- 1984- 1986 Research assistant (part-time), involved in data collection and analysis in behalf of the dissertation research of dr.ir. A.D.M. van de Ven (theme: "International Industrial Production").
