I'm involved in finding biological variables that could explain differences in prognosis for heart disease between patients with and without emotional distress

My research focusses on behavioral genetics, inflammation, cardiovascular autonomic reactivity and cortisol.

Projects

I'm involved in a research project that tries to find biological interfaces between type D personality and heart disease. We focus on several biological systems, such as the immune system, the autonomic nervous system and the endocrine system.
