Both John and Barnabas are documents in which Israels Holy Scriptures are read in a Jewish way but receive an anti-Jewish interpretation. How does scriptural interpretation help the Johannine Christians and the group from which the Epistle of Barnabas came, to position themselves vis-a-vis non-Christian Jews and others that do not belong to their own group? The project will continue until the end of 2012, for 0.4 fte.
