Ruud Brekelmans' main research interests are inventory management, optimization and simulation. He also does a lot of practical applications in these areas.

Ruud Brekelmans is director of Ticopt (Tilburg Center for Optimization) that aims to develop new optimization models and methods and to solve practical optimization problems in industry and governmental institutes.
