Expertise

Rein Cozijn is assistant-professor at the Humanities Faculty, and responsible for the research lab of the faculty. As a psycholinguist and usability researcher, he studies the cognitive processing of language, hypertext, and text and graphics. He is specialized in experimental research methods, notably eye movement registration techniques.

Projects

My psycholinguistic research focuses on the study of reading processes (e.g., the processing of connectives, pronouns, prefabs, integration of text and graphics). As a usability researcher, I study the processing of hypertext (hyperlinks, text and graphics, advertisements), and the use of eye movements in computer-human interaction.
