Radosveta Dimitrova's research interests focus on acculturation, collective identity and well-being of ethnic minority youth with Turkish-Bulgarian, Turkish-Dutch, Muslim-Bulgarian and Roma background. She is also concerned with the phenomenon of the immigrant paradox - the counterintuitive finding that in spite of social disadvantages, immigrants perform better than nationals in a range of developmental outcomes.
