Marloes van Engen is assistant professor at the Department of Human Resource Studies, Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Tilburg University where she lectures in Diversity in Organizations. Marloes is aslo Gender Policy Advisor for Tilburg University. She studied Social Psychology with a minor in the Psychology of Culture and Religion at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. She lectured at Communication Sciences before she moved to Tilburg University. Her research interests are in the area of work-family issues in organizations, gender and leadership, gender in organizations, gender and careers, diversity in teams and organizations and the management of diversity in organizations. Furthermore, she has a strong interest in methodology, ranging from meta-analysis, multi-level analysis, qualitative research methods and action research methods. She was a visiting academic at Northwestern University (Chicago, USA), the University of Queensland (Brisbane, Australia), Monash Univeristy (Melbourne, Australia) and the Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore, India). She has published in Psychological Bulletin, Leadership Quarterly, Career Development International, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes , Journal of Organizational and Occupational Psychology, Journal of Social Issues, and International Journal of Human Research Management.
