When using a tool, application or system, data from the university is stored and/or processed. This can be all kinds of data, such as financial data, but also data about students and employees (personal data). It is important that this data is stored securely. Would you like to purchase a new tool, application or software? Make sure that you do this in accordance with the privacy and security guidelines of the university.

What if I want to make use of an external party for my classes, research, or business?
If Tilburg University, as the legal controller, engages a company for the processing of personal data, a processing agreement is required. This is a legal obligation under the GDPR.

I want to connect the tool, application or system to SURFconext. How do I do this?
Via SURFconext you can log in with one username and password to multiple cloud services used by the university.
