Be a Friend

Student-2-Student

Tilburg University Fund is committed to stimulating and supporting initiatives developed for and by students. During your student years, even a small annual contribution can make a big difference. An annual financial contribution of 10 euro allows you to participate in the Student-2-Student program. Students support other students. This entitles you to be a Friend of Tilburg University.

You can choose one of two designations for your financial support:

  1. The Subsidy Fund for student initiatives A financial contribution to this Fund increases the opportunities for students to receive funding to help cover the costs of various activities-travelling in connection with one's studies, for example, attending a congress, or attending sports or cultural activities. Requests for funding may be submitted individually or together with other students.
  2. The scholarship program for international students This program gives foreign graduate students who lack the financial means the opportunity to study at Tilburg University. In 2010, the alumni bundled their contributions to help provide a scholarship for South African student Janeke Thumbran.

Print out the form below, fill it in and send it- free of postage- to the 'antwoordnummer'. In the Netherlands, an addressee with an 'antwoordnummer' pays the costs of postage; in other words, it's important to use the designated word on the envelope.

Other advantages

We'll keep you up to date about how we are spending your contribution. It's also interesting to note that when you become a Friend, then your own initiatives may be considered for funding support during your student years. Friends also receive a small gift as a token of our thanks, which will likely prove useful throughout your student years at the university.
