Three professors of Tilburg University have been awarded research funding from NWO Domain Social Sciences and Humanities: Ilja van Beest for research on ostracism, Dick den Hertog for research on economies-of-scale and Jonathan Verschuuren for research on reducing greenhouse emissions.

In the changing media landscape, ever-increasing amounts of digital data are being created that are being used to reach an increasingly fragmented audience. Under the leadership of Joris Ebbers, affiliated with the University of Amsterdam, 12 researchers - including the Tilburg University researcher Franceso Lelli (TiSEM) - received an NWO grant of € 630,000 for the research project "Data-inspired creativity: The use of big data in cross-media creative innovation processes".

The burden of untaxed profits: tax avoidance in the Netherlands
TiSEM hosts an average of 30-35 visiting researchers annually for periods ranging from a week to several months, as well as more than 200 seminars and informal workshops per year.
Various seminars are held each week, providing frequent opportunities for visiting researchers, PhD students and faculty members to discuss current research and ongoing projects.
