Department of Management
The Department of Management focuses its teaching and research on the fields of Management, Strategy, International Business, Information Management and Supply Chain Management.
The department of Management is dedicated to excellence in teaching and contributes to the following programs:

Department members also teach in the Executive Programs at TIAS Business School.
Research in the Department of Management covers four broad fields:
- Strategic Management
- International Management
- Information Management
- Supply Chain Management
Within these fields we focus on firms' strategic choices and performance. We take a relational perspective, meaning that we are interested in how firms and other organizations are embedded in bilateral and multilateral collaborations, as well as networks and ecosystems.
Our work has recently been published in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Information Systems, the Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Operations Management, Organization Science, and the Strategic Management Journal.
The research groups in the Department of management are part of Tilburg University's CentER (Center for Research in Economics and Business).
