#2 worldwide in Marketing Research

The Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM) is ranked 2nd worldwide by the American Marketing Association in terms of research productivity in the most prestigious Marketing journals. With 47 publications in the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of Marketing Research over the last ten year, TiSEM belongs to the most productive universities in the field of marketing.

The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) is ranked 1st worldwide. The top five is completed by Robert Smith School of Business (University of Maryland at College Park), Smeal College of Business (Pennsylvania State University at University Park), and McCombs School of Business (University of Texas at Austin).

In addition, TiSEM has the highest number of researchers in the ‘Author productivity Top 50’. We are proud to have four researchers of the Department of Marketing among the most productive worldwide:

#17 – Els Gijsbrechts

#26 – Inge Geyskens

#34 – Marnik Dekimpe

Other universities in the Netherlands ranked in the list are Erasmus University Rotterdam (15th) and Maastricht University (45th). 

The American Marketing Association yearly publishes the ‘Marketing Research Productivity’ ranking based on the number of publications in the two most prestigious Marketing journals (JM and JMR) in the last ten years.
