Social security innovation for inclusive worker support during the corona crisis?

Covid19 responses in Germany and the Netherlands show that the most vulnerable workers are the least protected against loss of income. Permanent support structures giving reliable income security for all types of workers are to be preferred over temporary quick-fix solutions. Moreover, certain employment forms need to be banned or limited in use.

That's what Sonja Bekker (Tilburg Law School) and Janine Leschke (Copenhagen Business School) argue in the JESP European Social Policy Blog.
