International and European Tax Moot Court Competition
Every year, four students from one of the study programs of the Fiscal Institute Tilburg take part in the International and European Tax Moot Court Competition. The Institute of Tax Law of KU Leuven and the IBFD organizes the Competition in cooperation with Deloitte.
This Competition is a simulated hearing before a tax tribunal. The Competition consists of a written and an oral stage. Therefore, the main goal is to allow students from around the world, specializing in taxation, to sharpen their written argumentation and oral presentation skills in a competitive international environment.
Two prizes
In April 2021, the Tilburg delegation won two prizes at the Tax Moot Court Competition!
Moreover, the Fiscal Institute Tilburg is organizing a special lecture ‘Comprehensive Case Studies European & International Tax Law’ which serves as a preparation for the Competition.
