TILT lecturers are highly involved in legal and ethical education in various Master’s programs at Tilburg University. Courses are taught by our researchers in the following programs.
Data Science and Society1 year English Starts end of August and end of January
Become a Data Analyst and provide solutions for societal challenges with the use of complex data sets. Add value to a team, company or organization with a combination of technical skills, knowledge about legal and ethical issues related to data science, and the ability to effectively communicate with professionals and researchers from different disciplines. Specialize by following one of four tracks: Business, Governance, Media, or Health.
Master in International and European Law
If you are interested in a Master's program in International and European Law, you can choose between two specialized tracks; European Law and Global Risk or International Law and Global Governance.
International Business Law: Digital Innovation in Commerce and Finance (LLM)1 year English Starts end of August
Examine the role of lawyers in a rapidly evolving business environment, where new technologies and the call for more ethical business practices change the way in which we conduct business.
Economics1 year English Starts end of August and end of January
Develop expertise in tackling real-world problems in the MSc Economics, together with students from around the world. With an understanding of how social interaction leads to problems such as biodiversity loss, climate change, and inequality, you will be better equipped to help governments, businesses and NGOs develop effective strategies and policies.
European Law and Global Risk (LLM)1 year English Starts end of August and end of January
Focus on European law in relation to global challenges like climate change, trade, migration and the decline of rule of law. European law is a leading force when it comes to addressing societal issues in Europe as well as globally. European law is crucial for any lawyer, because it impacts all aspects of domestic law, from business to social welfare.
Rechtsgeleerdheid (LLM) (in Dutch)1 year Dutch Starts end of August and end of January
With the master’s program Rechtsgeleerdheid (Dutch Law) in Tilburg, you choose a broad master's where you will deepen your knowledge in all main legal areas. In addition to the broad legal foundation, you choose a profile with which you specialize in your area of interest. Tilburg also offers several extended master's programs.
Research Master in Economics2 years English Starts end of August
CentER's Research Master (RM) in Economics is a challenging two-year program. It prepares you for academic research in economics and econometrics with graduate level coursework and research training. After completing the program, most students continue with PhD research in economics or opt for a research-based position at a company or public sector organization.
