Tilburg University to award three honorary doctorates during dies natalis
04th February 2022Three American scientists will receive honorary doctorates from Tilburg University on June 16, 2022, during its dies natalis. Mary E. Barth (Professor of Accounting at Stanford University) and Christine Moorman (Professor of Marketing at Duke University) will both receive an honorary doctorate from the Tilburg School of Economics and Management. Prof. James Gross (Professor of Psychology at Stanford University) receives an honorary doctorate from the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. The honorary doctorates are conferred upon them because of their exceptional academic achievements.

Deepfakes may in time disrupt society
05th January 2022Deepfakes potentially have a very large impact on society, social structures and the rule of law. This is evident from research published today by the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT), commissioned by the WODC, a knowledge institute linked to the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security.

VIA AUGUSTA proposal ‘Leveraging the potential of a System-of-Systems approach to infrastructure management’ granted by NWO/NGinfra
02nd December 2021Wendy van der Valk, together with Henk Akkermans and Carol Ou (TiSEM), Saskia Lavrijssen and Martijn Groenleer (TLS) have been awarded a grant by NWO/NGInfra for their VIA AUGUSTA project proposal. It is aimed at working towards an integrated vision on how to equip the Dutch infrastructure of the future.
