Master Seminars in Philosophy

Each year the master program Philosophy has a number of extra-curricular activities. Both the content and the social aspect of this master seminar is important. It offers master students the opportunity to get acquainted with subjects not treated in the courses of their specific master program. This may give insight in other styles of doing philosophy, in the way philosophy functions in the sciences, or in the practical meaning of philosophy in society.

Besides this, the seminar offers students the chance to get to know both each other and the staff  more personally. As much as possible themes and speakers are chosen which should interest students from all three master programs. All master students are supposed to participate in the meetings of this seminar. Bachelors and pre-master students in philosophy and anyone else interested are welcome to attend as well.
