Username and password university library

Staff and students are provided with a Tilburg University account when they enter into employment with the university or when they register as a student. 

The account consists of a login name/username and a password. The username is the 6-digit ANR number on the Tilburg University card with the letter u in front. For example, if the ANR number is 123456, the username is u123456.

External library users will receive a temporary password in their welcome letter when they take out a library subscription at the library desk.

What is the username and password used for?

With your username and password, you can log in to the catalogue and:

• Extend the loan period of books yourself.
• Request publications (depot requests) from the closed stacks via the 'Request Publication' button in the catalogue.

The login does not give you access to the library databases. (Online databases can only be consulted from the reference pc's in the library.)
