Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022 was a great success

The Global Entrepreneurship Week that took place from November 14 to 18 was a great success! During the week, (starting) entrepreneurs had the opportunity to follow an inspiring program. For the second time, all high educational institutions and entrepreneurial organizations in Brabant will join forces and organize a week of meetings, workshops and events for student entrepreneurs in particular. In this article, we like to take a look back at this insightful week.

Monday

On Monday, students got the opportunity to start the week by getting inspired by Dutch entrepreneurs. This event is all about getting inspired by the stories of several entrepreneurs. Next to this, students got the opportunity to ask questions to the entrepreneurs.The entrepreneurs who shared their story were Lars van der Wijst and Jens Timmer from Cloudpillo and Tim van Oerle from Nature.House.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, it was time to obtain more practical knowledge by following all different kinds of workshops. Students had the opportunity to learn more about sales through storytelling, social business modeling, sales and negotiation on various locations in Brabant. At the end of the day, there was a College Tour on Networking in Den Bosch where students could work on their networking skills.

Wednesday

During Wednesday, entrepreneurs got to ask business questions to exclusive experts in the field of legal, online identity, innovation, accountancy and marketing. 

Thursday

On Thursday, it was time for the Super Bowl event! The event took place in Tilburg, Breda and Den Bosch. Various startups and entrepreneurs joined the fun event and showed off their bowling skills. Next to that, it was a great opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs in a fun way!

Friday 

On the last day of the GEW, the first Dragons’ Den took place! Seven startups, seeking funding, pitched their startup and funding requests to the Dragons at the JADS Chapel.Goed Zoet received 5000 euros of funding from Round One and Live Connect received 2500 euros from Brightmove/Starterslift, congratulations!
