What is the key to success of the Dutch biggest entrepreneurs? On April 19, the Academic Business Club organized the 14th edition of The Road Symposium, the largest symposium on entrepreneurship in the southern Netherlands. In previous years The Road Symposium was completely sold out in Theaters Tilburg with 750 participants. This year there are 1000 free tickets available to participate in the online live stream from the Tilburg high-tech studio, first impression!
This year the chairman of the day is none other than Sander Schimmelpenninck. Everyone knows him as the former chief editor of the Quote. But he is also a true entrepreneur at heart! Sander will lead the evening in the right direction, and will announce the speakers. The first speaker of the evening is Raymond Cloosterman. He managed to build his cosmetics company Rituals into a global brand with more than 1000 sales points around the world. 'If you can dream it, you can do it,' is this successful entrepreneur's favorite quote. During the evening Raymond will reveal his key to success. The 2nd speaker is in the top 100 list of young self-made millionaires in the Netherlands, Joep Gommers. He has no education but taught himself to hack from the age of 14. He managed to translate his passion for hacking into his company EclecticIQ, a cybersecurity company that protects governments and companies against terrorism and espionage.
