The Tilburg University Challenge: Kick-off Event
On February 9, The Kick-Off event of the Tilburg University Challenge took place.
The Tilburg University Challenge, offers students the possibility to submit their innovative, entrepreneurial ideas and develop these ideas, in co-creation and with guidance from coaches from the business world, into a feasible and viable business plan. The Tilburg University Challenge will challenge students to come up with innovative ideas, related to societal and entrepreneurial issues, and make real progress in realizing a viable business plan
The Kick-off started with an informative presentation and a fun quiz. During the presentation the participants learned more about the do’s and don’ts during the challenge and were introduced to the partners of the Tilburg University challenge.
Following the presentation, a mini-workshop was given where the participants and partners got the opportunity to get to know each other better. Their creativity was immediately put to test, as they were asked to remake the well known Mona Lisa. Participants were urged to use their imaginations and think beyond the box during this workshop. Afterwards, all participants were invited for a networking drink, where they got the chance to further discuss their insights and ideas with their fellow competitors and partners.
The Tilburg University Challenge Kick-off event was a success, and we're excited to see the business ideas that the participants will submit for the Challenge. The competition offers students a singular chance to demonstrate their entrepreneurial spirit, inventiveness, and problem-solving abilities while also making a positive impact on society. We wish all contestants good luck and are looking forward to watching how their ideas come to life.
