The winner of the Ideation Award was team K.I.S.S. eten by Purvi Sankhla: ‘I am very grateful to win the challenge to carry my passion ahead with confidence. Honestly, it was possible because the mentors and experts gave really valuable feedback and direction, challenging and motivating me- this still continues.'

She explains about the project: 'Our current interconnected food ecosystem is more threatening than the CoVid virus- 1/4 th of climate change is caused by it.  Then, climate change is deteriorating our food quality, thus, our health. Our mission is to redirect food choices towards better health and climate. Our idea is to develop a platform that develops a personalized grocery list which is good for the health and the environment.’

Team Dmyzer is the winner of the Business Ready/Start-up Award. Nason Zikayo: ‘We're ecstatic that our business case struck a chord with the Challenge panel and we're looking forward to deploying Dmyzer! Dmyzer, our multi-facted digital work platform,  was created to alleviate some of the challenges we experienced as data science students whilst helping businesses find greater utility from their data. Dmyzer uses machine learning to help data owners and users collaborate and meet each other's needs whilst addressing the privacy concerns of all stakeholders. We're grateful for all the support we received throughout the competition from both the challenge team and our fellow innovators who took part, we wouldn't be here without them.’

The audience cast their vote for the Audience Award, which has been appointed to Roomie. Simon van Rijsingen: ‘We as Roomie are very honored and proud to have won the audience award, for us it was the most important confirmation that there is great interest in our application. Roomie is an all-in-1 application that will make living in students housings as easier. Roomie will have 4 features to start with: A task divider, cost regulator, shared grocery list and a feature where students know which bins to put outside. In the future, Roomie has the possibility of adding more features. Finally, everyone on the Roomie team would like to thank everyone for voting and stay tuned for more information!’

Tilburg University congratulates all of you!
