Early Adopters

You look for your early adopters to see if your assumptions are correct. These are people who have the problem, have themselves manufactured a solution to bypass the problem, and are willing to pay for a good solution.

You need to be as specific as possible in naming this target group to be able to find and reach them. Your early adopters must respond super enthusiastically to your idea and want to pay for it immediately. These will be the ambassadors of your product. Important: friends and family are not the right group to test your assumptions. They are therefore not early adopters.

What do you get out of it?

Your early adopters are your first customers. By involving them well in the development of your product, you create something that customers are waiting for and want to pay for.
