Pay your six-month sports membership or annual membership by direct debit
Starting September 1, 2023, it will be possible to pay for your 6-month membership or year membership of the Tilburg University Sports Center via direct debit.
How does it work?
If you want to pay for your membership by direct debit, you buy the membership online. You choose year membership direct debit or 6-month membership direct debit in the shop.
You pay a pro-rata amount. Suppose you buy your annual membership on the 15th of the month, you immediately pay the remaining days until the end of the month. Then, in the first week of the new month, your installment is debited via direct debit.
After the term of your membership (6 months or 12 months), the membership ends automatically.

Q: What is going to change?
A: Starting September 1, 2023, we will offer an additional payment option for our membership holders. It will then be possible to pay your sports membership in installments. No administration fee will be charged for this.
Q: How can I use the direct debit?
A: Two new membership options will be added in the shop where you buy your membership. You can choose to pay in 1x (annual membership, 6 months membership) or in monthly installments via direct debit (6 months membership: direct debit, annual membership: direct debit)
Q: On what day of the month is the payment debited?
A: Sports membership payments are always debited in the first week of the month.

When you purchase an annual membership, you pay a pro rata amount online. Suppose you buy your annual membership on the 15th of the month. You pay directly (online) the remaining days until the end of the month. Then in the first week of the new month an installment is debited via direct debit.
After 12 or 6 months, your membership ends automatically.
Q: What if there is not enough money in my account?
A: You will receive an unpaid sale on your account. You can no longer use your sports account until the unpaid sale is paid (online or at the desk).
