Oliver Sacks was one of the most renowned neuroscientists of the last decade, but to achieve this he had to walk a difficult path in life. In this intimate documentary Oliver Sacks tells in his own words about his long road to self-discovery, while battling homophobia and addictions. On the way, he struggled to find acceptance for his unusual scientific ideas.
After the movie a reaction and discussion follows with Ad Vingerhoets, emeritus professor of clinical psychology, Tilburg University.
