Journalist and anthropologist Joris Luyendijk tried to find this out for himself in his book ‘De Zeven vinkjes’ (Seven Ticks). Luyendijk wanted to understand what his starting position has done with his image of self, man and society. And what does it do to a country when men like him rule it? Because in many places at the very top of politics, the serious media, public administration and business, a man like Joris Luyendijk is the boss.
Nice to know, Luyendijk is a former visiting professor at Tilburg University. He held the Leonardo chair, meant for someone with a high-profile dual talent. Moderator at this Night Talk is sociologist Quita Muis.
