Film

After his wife leaves him for another man, David (Colin Farrell) is taken to The Hotel, where he needs to find a partner, or he is to be transformed into an animal of his choice. Guests of The Hotel are fixated on finding a partner with whom they share artificial traits such as physical ailments, as they believe those are crucial for compatibility. Focused more on staying a human, than finding a partner, David quickly realizes the lunacy of such practice.

This absurdist comedy, compared to the works of Samuel Beckett, touches on the ludicrous dating culture of our age, where people see love as an obligation, and often belittle those who do not.
