Data Science Students
Data Science students (BSc) are able to use Tilburg Studium Generale activities that are similar to USE/ITEC-related TU/e Studium Generale activities for completion of their USE/ITEC learning line trajectory. This only holds for events that also can be used for the Studium Generale Tilburg certificate (with mention of the SG-Certificate in the lead text). The program management of the Bachelor Data Science administers the attendance of these Tilburg activities.
What to do?
- Attend the Studium Generale Tilburg events that qualify. This concerns events that can also apply to the Studium Generale Tilburg certificate, with the mention of the SG-Certificate in the lead text.
- For a Studium Generale Tilburg activity to be administered, you need to prove your attendance with a selfie taken during the activity (offline and online!). Make sure your student card is also visible.
- Submit within 14 days the notification of your attendance at a Studium Generale Tilburg activity with the selfie to the program management via JBDS@tilburguniversity.edu with in the topic “Tilburg Studium Generale activity + [name activity]”. Do not forget to also mention your full name and student number in the email.
It is also possible to attend (some of) the five events in Eindhoven at Studium Generale TU/e (see the website also for more information on USE/ITEC).
Of course you’re welcome to participate in more events on the Studium Generale Tilburg program.
