Digital Society Conference

Date: Time: 00:00 Location: Media Plaza, Utrecht

Fourteen Dutch universities, united in the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU), join forces in the research program Digital Society and are working together to find solutions to the societal challenges of digitalization. The Dutch universities are organizing the second edition of the Digital Society Conference on Tuesday 26 November at Mediaplaza Utrecht to build closer ties with knowledge organizations, the corporate sector and government, and invest in innovative research for a better digital society. The theme of this year is ‘Digital Participation and Inclusion’.

During the conference, plenary sessions are scheduled as well as workshops with the involved scientists. Next, we will provide the opportunity for the researchers to demonstrate their research on digital applications to the visitors at the forum. Presentation formats may be: a poster, (powerpoint-)slides, video and / or live demonstration. The scope of the forum is broad; the digital applications could for example involve e-health, AI, wearables or Virtual Reality. If you are willing to contribute to the conference, please send your idea for a showcase to Anouk Vermeijbefore October 24th.
