Kick-off TiU Blockchain Community

The Board and Deans of TiU have awarded a grant to a joint proposal by TLS, TiSEM and TSHD called ‘Kwartiermaken Blockchain Community’ as part of the TiU Impact Impulsfonds. It is the aim of the grant to further develop a blockchain research community within TiU.
On December 17th (13.00-15.15), the TiU Blockchain Community kick-off takes place online (via Zoom). In addition to an interactive workshop on the scope and activities of the Community, the program includes two presentations of external speakers:
- 'Dutch Blockchain Coalition: future ambition' by DBC coalition manager Peter Verkoulen
- 'Opportunities for DLT/Blockchain in the Public domain in the Netherlands' by Marlen Komorowski (VUB Brussels) and Cem Adiyaman (Ministry of Interior Affairs) based on the results of the Ministry’s recent nation-wide survey.
