Date: Time: 11:00 Location: Online - Link volgt nog

In the week of January 31, Tilburg University makes its employees and students aware of threats on the Internet. One of the activities that week is the Keeper workshop.

The workshop will be given at different times.

  • February 1, 11.00 – 12.00 hrs. (NL) & 15.00 – 16.00 hrs. (ENG)
  • February 3,  09.00 – 10.00 hrs. (ENG) & 15.00 – 16.00 hrs. (NL)

Sign up via Tessel Stoppelenburg, Policy Officer: T.E.Stoppelenburg@tilburguniversity.edu

The workshop will consist of two parts

The first part of the workshop will consist of some general information about passwords. Why is a strong password important? What is the possible impact of a weak password in practice? And what does a strong password actually consist of? These are some of the questions that will be discussed. In addition, we also share some facts and figures around password use.

During the second part of the workshop we will explain the application 'Keeper'. This application was purchased by the university and you (as an employee or student of Tilburg University) can use it as a password safe/password manager. We will show you how the application works and what you can use it for so you can use strong and different passwords for all your accounts without being afraid that you will forget them or that (internet) criminals will steal them from you.

Of course, there will be plenty of time afterwards to ask questions or, if you're following along live, to watch with you.
