Masterclass Zero Hunger Lab during SDG Action Day

Date: Time: 09:30 Location: SDG Action Day

On September 25 the SDG Action Day will take place in a virtual setting. Under the title "Decade of Transformation", participants will look at how sustainable transitions based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations can be accelerated. Tilburg University's Zero Hunger Lab organizes the masterclass Data Science for Zero Hunger.

The Action Day brings together representatives from all Dutch sectors, with the aim of inspiring, activating and connecting. By joining forces, actions around specific SDGs can be accelerated and taken to the next level. The corona crisis makes us think about how we can make the world more resilient to major shocks, such as a pandemic. The SDGs are more important than ever in this regard, to avoid the next crisis and to be stronger in our shoes should it come anyway.

Masterclass Zero Hunger Lab

The masterclass by the Zero Hunger Lab is about understanding and (starting to) learn how you can help with data science to make our world a little better and healthier and to end hunger (SDG-2). Within the masterclass on data science, participants will work with inspiring practical examples and discuss the possibilities of data science within their own organization.

SDG Action Day program

Day chair Talitha Muusse will have a plenary discussion with, among others, Feike Sijbesma, Stientje van Veldhoven and Sharon Pieksma. Other guests and elements from the program will be announced in August. With more than 35 workshops spread over three rounds, it is a broader program than ever. As a participant, you have the insights, contacts and tools at the end of the day to make an even more powerful commitment to the SDGs in the coming years. Info and tickets are available at sdgactionday.nl.
