NGSZ Mini-Masterclass 'From design to implementation: How to make From Work to Work work'

Date: Time: 15:00 Location: Digital Mini-Masterclass

Marjolijn ten Hoonte in a dialogue with Irmgard Borghouts and Charissa Frees during the NGSZ Mini-Masterclass 'From design to implementation: How to make From Work to Work work'.

We have known it for so long; supply and demand in the labour market do not match. There are plenty of projects to help people find work, but more is needed. Marjolein ten Hoonte (director Arbeidsmarkt and CSR at Randstad) discusses this with professors Irmgard Borghouts and Charissa Freese.

They jointly occupy the special HRM and Social Security chair at Tilburg University and focus on possible solutions to this imbalance. During this digital Mini-Masterclass on Tuesday 30 November from 15.00 to 16.00 hours, they will explore which buttons we can turn.

The tension is mounting. For the first time in 50 years, the number of vacancies is higher than the number of job-seekers. How do we ensure that people threatened with dismissal, regardless of the type of contract and the type of employer, receive the right support in time? How can we use the lessons from the corona crisis to make structural adjustments to the labour market? What actions does that require from the government, from employers, and from workers and job-seekers themselves at the political, policy and operational levels?

On Tuesday 30 November, the discussion can be followed live from 15.00 hours. After registration you will receive a personal link with which you can log in. As always, we expect a diverse audience; young and experienced, from public and private and with insights from policy, science and practice.
There will be ample opportunity to ask questions and share your ideas.

Do you have a question in advance for Charissa Freese, Irmgard Borghouts or Marjolein ten Hoonte? If so, please let us know by Monday 29 November at info@ngsz.nl.
