Faculty Day TST 2017

Tilburg School of Catholic Theology is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with catholic social learning as its theme for the faculty day. What is its importance for the presence?

Prof. dr. Sylvester Eijffinger will involve us in his vision on the developments of the ‘Katholieke Hogeschool Tilburg’, the ‘Katholieke Universiteit Brabant’ and the ‘Universiteit van Tilburg’ to the Tilburg University as it is now, in the thirty years of his involvement in our university. He will search for its roots, with our founding father Martinus Cobbenhagen as our guide.

Our key note speaker: prof. dr. Sylvester C.W. Eijffinger Sylvester Eijffinger is Professor of Financial Economics at the Center for Economic Research and the Department of Economics and Jean Monnet Professor of European Financial and Monetary Integration at Tilburg University, President of Tilburg University Society and the Cobbenhagen Summit and Visiting Professor of Economics at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. He was a member of the Monetary Experts Panel of the European Parliament for the Monetary Dialogue with the ECB. He was also a member of the Maas and Wijffels Committees for the Code Banking and the Structure of the Dutch Banking Sector.
